TravelMapReel is an iPhone app that turns the photos from a trip into an animated map video. It reads when and where each photo was taken, finds your stops, traces the route between them and renders a vertical video for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.

No. TravelMapReel rebuilds the trip afterwards from the time and place already saved in your photos. Routes follow real roads, and flights and ferries are detected and drawn as arcs.

iPhone. It is coming soon to the App Store.

Yes. Any photos that still have their time and location work, whether the trip was last week or years ago. You do not need to have had the app during the trip.

Only the photos you pick in the iPhone photo picker. It reads the time and place saved in each one to build the trip. Full-size photos never leave your phone; the app uploads smaller copies to make the video.

They wait in a short list in the app. You can place each one on the map yourself or leave it out of the video.

Up to 200. The app picks the best shots for the video, so you can add the whole trip without sorting first.

Yes. Settings, then Delete account, erases your trips, photo copies and videos from our servers straight away.

A vertical 1080×1920 MP4. The map flies from stop to stop along the real route, your best photos appear at each stop, and the video ends with the trip's miles, days and stops.

Yes. Pick a map theme and a vehicle (car, campervan, motorbike, plane or ferry), reorder or rename stops, and edit the caption for any stop before you render.

Not yet. Videos come without a soundtrack, so you can add a trending sound in Instagram or TikTok when you post.

A few minutes. The video renders in the cloud, so you can leave the app; it tells you when the video is ready.

You can build and edit trips for free, and make one free teaser video of any trip: 3 of its stops, in 720p with a small watermark. A one-trip pass or a Pro subscription unlocks the full video: every stop, 1080p, no watermark. Prices are shown in the app.

A trip pass unlocks the full video for one trip, with up to three renders within seven days so you can try another theme. Pro unlocks full videos for every trip (up to 30 videos a month) and adds the Neon map theme.

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting your TravelMapReel account does not cancel a subscription.

A video that fails to render does not use up your pass or your free teaser. Email support@travelmapreel.com if it keeps failing.
